Understand what your AI agent just shipped.
Vibe-code as usual. After each git commit, GrowthCommit emails you the technical concepts behind the change and where to learn each one in under five minutes.
How it works
- 1
Install the hook, once per repo
A small CLI installs a git post-commit hook. It never blocks your commit and never changes your code.
- 2
Commit like you always do
The hook sends the commit message, the changed file names and a scrubbed diff. Secrets are stripped before anything leaves your machine.
- 3
Read it in five minutes
You get the concepts behind the change, each with short curated resources, by email and in your dashboard.
What it is not
You already have enough tools with opinions about your code. This one has none.
- Not code review. It never says your code is good or bad.
- Not metrics. No lines, no velocity, no streaks.
- Not a coding assistant. It does not write or suggest code.
- Not a documentation generator. No READMEs, no specs.
- Not a course. It does not teach you programming from scratch.
- Not a commit-message writer. Your messages stay yours.
You do not learn from zero. You learn the concepts behind the code your AI agent already generated for you — in under five minutes per commit, without pausing your flow.
About your code
Reading your diffs is the whole product, so the honest thing is to be specific about it. Secrets are stripped on your machine before anything is sent. The diff is capped and, per repo, you can turn it off entirely — then only the commit message and the file names are used.
There is no admin screen in this product. Nobody has a page for reading your analyses. What the operator does have is database access, the kind needed to keep the service running — so our commitment not to read your content is a stated policy, not something the code enforces. We would rather say that than imply a guarantee we have not built.
Read the full details — what leaves your machine, who processes it, and how long we keep it.
